I remember Trump babbling about sick Chinese in Seattle and every Democrat EVERYWHERE shouted fear mongering whilst they all went on parades.
They did it on both coasts.

Then they did a complete 180 and shut down the country except for essential services (Uber Eats, liquor stores, and any place that sold toilet paper)

Cuomo moved all the sick into old folks homes and medical facilities for the elderly. We all know how that went. Dr. Mengele would have been proud. Then it became policy for dozens of Governors including Massachusetts....because rounding people up and putting high risk populations in with the sick seemed like a whizbang idea.

I'll give it up for Joe Stumbles...he hid in his basement. Probably the smartest thing he ever did.

Now was Trump right about everything? Of course not. Neither was Fauci and that was literally his one job. As time goes on Fauci is looking more complicit in this whole thing and if Trump had won a second term I have no doubt he would have been investigated.

So where are we today?

Fauci is no longer at his post. Not in jail but we will take what we can get.
We know the vaccine didn't do sh!t.
Masks are about as effective as sugar pill to cure Cancer.
Trump hasn't been POTUS for 3 solid years where,
- costs have skyrocketed
- COVID outbreaks/strains continue
- the economy is circling the drain
- the petroleum reserves have been drained
- and we are printing a TRILLION dollars that we are going to give away to corrupt nations that will gladly take it off our hands.

As President Trump is not an MD and most especially not a Virologist he was following the advice of the government and other "experts", like Fauci and the CDC among others.
They were the ones who didn't quite figure out what to do.

Then there is the nature of the American People. We don't like being told what to do by"experts" or politicians. We don't like to be restricted in our movements and we are probably the most mobile nation on Earth. We are constantly on the move for work, shopping, just for fun and more Americans both numerically and % wise move addresses per year than anyone else. Not only that, but we also like to congregate for meeting, movies, sports etc. etc.
All of which tends to negate the anti-COVID measures if people were following them in the first place. Hell we even had door to door sales people coming around during COVID - we put a sign on our front door stating we would not be answering the door.

As to our large numbers of deaths during COVID, well take all the above and combine it with our nearly 340million (#3 behind China and India) population and our nearly 100% coverage of statistics and it is no wonder our reported deaths were so high.* China I am at least 99% certain did not give accurate numbers just for politics sake and India has many millions of people living in small villages and city slums who seldom interact with the government or report deaths, they just have a family service and bury them. Many people still believe that the dead should just be dropped in one of the sacred rivers so even if the government came by to check on the deaths from COVID there are no graves, just a body that drifted away on the river and was eaten by water life. So their numbers were probably even less accurate than China.

And then there are parts of Africa, parts of Asia & remote areas of So America etc. etc. etc. I saw articles of entire villages in Africa being a ghost town, no one to count the dead and when the government checked they just dug trenches with a bulldozer, dropped all the bodies in, burned the buildings to hopefully kill the virus and moved on down the road to check the next village. I saw similar things in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive, bulldozers and back hoes digging large holes in the cemetery next to our base and then trucks of bodies in piles pulling in and soldiers tossing them in until the hole was full, and a dozer pushed dirt over them then dug the next hole. That happened several times a day for a couple of weeks. So if you tell me it didn't happen in many places during COVID I will call you ignorant if I am in a nice mood and a liar if I am in a bad mood.

*Remember all the reports that many places deliberately over counted COVID deaths for benefits and aid? Someone comes into the ER/Trauma Center/Morgue dead from a traffic accident, heart attack etc. etc. and they also had COVID = just put them on the Covid death list. It was a lot less work for the severely over worked medical staffs. Who were already running to another in the endless line of patients or bodies coming in. No string of lab tests to determine the cause of death, no need for an autopsy etc. etc. just put another name on the COVID list. Reportedly that happened in a lot of places around the world. Too over worked to test and make accurate records.

Bleach is the one of the most common disinfectants when it comes to killing micro organisms.
Disinfectants are by their very nature are toxic to life. In lab jargon, when a site is to be disinfected, most understand you mean bleach Why - because it's cheap and effective. If you get someone to inject or inject disinfectant - it is poison and that person will become very ill at the least, but more probably dead. On many disinfectant bottles you will find "Not Fit For Human Consumption." You and Rac hear but you simply do not listen.

The first rule of medicine is "do no harm;" hence the look at Trump by the doctor.

The brilliance of Ronald Reagan was that he picked the very best in every field to advise him so he could make the best decision. Trump listens to just about no one.

Thank you for the additional comments. It appears no matter how factual our responses might be without disparaging these guys it is a waste of our time. Dennis and Rac seem to just standby and wait all day to try to bully their way through facts. It is their way, or the highway. If you disagree, you have to be a liberal. Most of us I would think have better things to do than sit on your butt and throw verbal stones at others.

The sad thing here is that I've previously posted that 70% of Americans don't want either Trump or Biden - I'm one of them. I think both are too old and have too much baggage. I was an executive before I retired and had indirect contact with both of them. Biden is a typical blowhard politician, who road the train from Wilmington to Washington daily - colleagues advised he was full of it then and still is.

But I dealt with Trump through clients when he was in Atlantic City and knew of him when he was in NY. He was and is an immoral, self-entitled person that will go down in history as one of the worst, if not the worst, President in our nation's history. He is, at his heart a salesman, selling "his brand." He is the worse kind though, unable or unwilling to accept his mistakes and blunders - he cannot tell anyone bad news, if he does, it is someone else's fault. I dealt with guys like him at a senior level for 40+ years and had generally had the task of straightening out the wake of destruction they left behind. Unfortunately, if elected again, we will see an unprecedented screw up of this nation.

What is sad is that all of Trump's supporters that support his agenda don't realize is that behind their backs, Trump is laughing at the "suckers" who believe his line of BS. General Kelly's remarks that "President Trump “is the most flawed person he's ever known," should give anyone paused. He worked with Trump daily.

My 2cents - I'm sure that the misguided, ill educated, ill informed and ill mannered duo will continue their rants - we should just consider the source. For the rest of you have a good day - I have work to do.
