Take your 'bewildered silly bugger' pose to November Maga, it's a real winner. It used to work for Tucker Carlson.

The indictment centers on allegations that Trump falsified internal business records at his private company while trying to cover up an effort to illegally influence the 2016 election by arranging payments that silenced claims potentially harmful to his candidacy. It includes 34 counts of fudging records related to checks Trump sent to his personal lawyer and problem-solver to reimburse him for his role in paying off a porn actor who said she had an extramarital sexual encounter with Trump years earlier.
“The defendant, Donald J. Trump, falsified New York business records in order to conceal an illegal conspiracy to undermine the integrity of the 2016 presidential election and other violations of election laws,” said Assistant District Attorney Christopher Conroy.

Here's the Indictment:
https://manhattanda.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Donald-J.-Trump-Indictment.pdfMaking it simple so you understand - falsifying business records.
Probably tax fraud as well. The Trumper allegedly played hide the salami with a Porn Star had his attorney pay for and he reimbursed said attorney as a business expense. Trump says he didn't. Said Porn Star gave a pretty good description of his equipment. Easily solved if Trump drops his drawers and her description matches.
Give another example if you don't understand - you own a business you hire an escort for a night of pleasure and the fee you deduct as a business expense. That's falsifying business records at the minimum.
He allegedly had someone else pay off the Playboy model.
Alleged to have both not come out before the election. That's illegal too.
BTW Isn't the Republican Party about Family Values?

A lot of finger pointing, but until the LONG jury process is complete with a guilty verdict, Trump has not committed a crime.

Read the indictment.
Oh, and breaking news...He is now guilty of criminal contempt of court.

Seeing the way that judge is acting, speaking and ruling, I have CONTEMPT for that court myself.
And it keeps Trump off the campaign trail. But the things they are doing seem to be backfiring with a lot of voters as every move they make Trump gains in some poll somewhere.
At least the AH finally said Trump could attend his Son's graduation.

Is contempt of court a crime?

Try and imagine being an ordinary defendant held in contempt of court. Poor you.

.
Trump is accused of falsifying business records with the intent to violate federal campaign finance limits, unlawfully influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and commit tax fraud.

A guilty verdict has nothing to do with whether Trump committed a crime. It just determines whether he can be punished for it.

Some voters see nothing wrong with an adjudicated rapist as Supreme Commander but these are not mainstream folks.

Unsurprisingly, these are "mainstream" folks.
People are, in general, hateful and ignorant.
