The latest software update seems to have improved AI photo editing for the Galaxy S24 series smartphones.
While having lunch on a restaurant patio I took this picture of our Doodle. I decided to try the AI editing feature and found it to be quite adequate for a quick edit. I wanted to remove the leash. When zoomed in to 100% size you can see some blurring. But for sharing a photo via social media I though it wasn't too bad.
Has anyone else played with mobile phone AI editing?

First of all beautiful pup. Great photos you captured and composed the shot well. No I have not tried that editing program. I use Bridge and Photoshop and am trying to learn ON1. I also shoot with a Samsung Ultra but a 23 not a 24. Keep us posted how it works.

Thank you! The pup is Maggie Mae. I believe the S23 Ultra should have the same updates from what I heard.

These photos are from 2006, a photographer took and we could download them. My friend like the pictureexcept for the photo bomb dude.
For this kind of altering pictures I think AI is great. AllI had to do was click on the object, hit delete, and generate. The stars in the bottom left corner indicates it's been AI altered.

Nice job with the photo. Do you ride? I ride a 2018 Harley Breakout 107. Today I am going to take the bike for a short spin. First time in a few months due to a back injury. No not from the bike. I ride with the American Legion Riders. I love the AI. and generate in photoshop. Just checking out ON1 so far very interesting. Have a great week.

Meant to say it in the previous reply that Maggie May is beautiful. How old is she? My last pup was a fancy pedigree a RESCUE. She was part chocolate lab and who knows what else. We had her for twelve years. Her and our Mainecoon cat who lived to 18 years were the best of friends.

I have the S23, not the Ultra. I've ignored the new firmware because I've grown used to the mobile Lightroom app that connects to my main system as well as letting me 'develop' the images from the phone.

With this post and your example, I was motivated to try the Samsung app. I took a picture of the room with our dog in it. Then, with a couple taps, removed the entire dog.

This AI magic stuff is more than I ever expected and is showing up everywhere in photography. The exception seems to be in "real" cameras themselves.

Maggie and I almost share the same birthday. I turned 84 today. Will dig out a photo of my bike and send it. Taken with the cell phone of course. Beautiful bike you had.

Nice work with the AI. We lived in Meridian for 10 years but returned to Alaska in 2012. We loved the riding there and all over the PNW. Your shot of the bike and rider on the side of the road looks like some of the pullouts on Hwy 21.

Thanks for showing your work. Our cellphones may not be the latest $6K full frame camera, but they do a great job. No brand or model is better than another, they’re all pretty darned good.

By the way, Maggie May is a good looking dog.

Here’s what we rode. Not taken with a cellphone. Nikon D90, (don’t mean to hijack your threat) at Galena Summit. I’m not sure I had an iPhone back then. The red one is my wife’s and the yellow one is mine. We hung up our helmets a few years ago after moving back to Alaska. It was boring after all the great riding we did in the Pacific Northwest. Idaho was great and we miss it. The Treasure Valley has sure grown since we left.

Your "Wingpilot" handle and that you live in Alaska suggest you might also have airplanes in your lifestyle. True?

Helicopter pilot, actually, but also have an airplane single engine land and sea rating, and commercial license. I flew helicopters in Vietnam.

Thanks. I was a Navy pilot for that effort.

Nice picture! The picture of me on the bike were taken with a regular camera, might have been with my Nikon S9700 Coolpix, or my friends Canon?
It was taken by the Grandjean overlook on Highway 21
I sure do miss riding, but then again I really miss being younger like back then.
