Hello sorry I keep going missing I catch up and really intend to stay caught up but time just keeps slipping away from me, it has warmed up again after another cold snap, but I think we have seen the last 30’s night for now, I have not been doing any knitting since I took out my cowl, I think I will work on my nieces sweater it is so close to being done could probably finish it today!
You catch up when you can; we just love to hear from you, and know how things are going.

Ditto from me, Lisa! xxxooo
Good morning all from a dull and wet Norfolk, finished the second sleeve so now have to work out the front bands and shawl collar done all in one. Have read the pattern and am confused to will try it one line at a time and see if that makes sense. Will chase some dust bunnies some time and see where we go from there. Have a restful Sunday. xx
Good morning from a 46F and cloudy Shoreline area. Had a nice visit with the family yesterday. The trip down and back was uneventfull (thankfully) with a bit of rain to add to the mix. No plans for the day today so will see what comes along and get on with my knitting at some point. I hope you all are staying safe and well and having as good a day as you can. xxxooo

I glared at some dust bunnies; they glared back 'Don't make us homeless' they squeaked. They now have a new home - in the bin.

Yes, got some of mine but I bet there's a lot more hiding. Probably on the rug in the lounge as it hasn't been hoovered yet, didn't have the strength to push my heavy Dyson after doing everything else. Tomorrow. xx

One big chore a day is quite enough. xx
I made space for the file cabinet I bought at Walmart. Hope it’s nice. Unopened box. I can’t keep using tote bags. I didn’t realize how much toilet paper I got during Covid. I think I’m set til Christmas. Put plastic tubs in the bathroom and found a lot of socks I didn’t know I had. Lady I know says that means I’m a hoarder I said no it means I can’t find the socks and keep buying new ones. Now I’ve found the lost ones I’ll donate some to the church that collects clothes for people who need them. I think she was rude calling me a hoarder. If she knew how much yarn yes she could say that 😏. But why hoard socks.
I got hooked today watching Mike and Molly episodes when they got married. Finished the book on meditation. Still not fully getting it. Started a book on the power of keeping your mouth shut in an endlessly noisy world. I took the quiz to see if I’m an over talker. I’m not Did a bit of cross stitch. Glad to be on here now Stay well and happy.
Good morning all from a sunny Norfolk and the temperature has climbed into double figures, just, 10C even in the wind. Will try and finish the hoovering today and I think that's it for chores today. Collar of knitting is making a bit more sense now but will have to put it on a longer cable as I'm ending up with over 200 stitches in chunky yarn. Have as good a Monday as you can. xx
Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:00 am EDT and 10'C (50'F). It will be going up to 13'C (55'F) with full cloud. We had a rainy but warm weekend. It was 22'c (72'f) at supper time yesterday and muggy, feeling like a thunderstorm was going to come through at any time. We did manage to get the sides up on the main raised garden between rain storms and DD planted lettuce and radishes. The temperature is not supposed to dip below 7'C (45'F) so the little plants should be ok. The leaves on the lilacs are trying hard to open.
I overate on Saturday at a sushi restaurant and felt awful overnight. Then I overate again the next day when I had a high tea. I have to stop doing this. I'll be at work today and a long way from a fridge.
I have a bunch of students starting today and no licenses for them. I'll be setting them up anyways and then directing any complaints to the boss who won't buy the licenses.
The province is cracking down on vaping and cell phone use by students in schools. They are spending lots of money on vape detectors and cell phone jammers because the teachers said that policing would take them away from teaching (and they only do about 5 hours of teaching per day now).
I forgot to file my taxes on the weekend. oops. I'll have to rush to do that tonight. The only deduction that I have really is my glasses.
Saturday was Local Yarn Store day and I bought some yarn on sale. I couldn't stay long because I needed to be home for the raised gardens chore. The owner of the LYS had lots of yummys set up on the table. It wasn't as busy as I had expected. I won another hat kit, but I asked the owner to give it to someone else.
(I still have the kit that I won last year)
I finally have my brioche shawl back to where it was before I ripped the section out.

That's a lot of stitches in chunky yarn. Good luck with wrangling those dust bunnies.

Mum keeps putting my things away somewhere safe, but can't remember where, so I buy a lot of replacements of just about everything. Eventually I find the original, then we have duplicates.
A collection of yarn is not a hoard, it's an investment. It will become something at some point, by someone.

I agree. If I try to do more, one of the chores doesn't get completed anyways.

I still have cat toys hiding under the couches. They seem to jump out of the cat toybox overnight. I know it is not Tazi because she doesn't go downstairs anymore. She stays in bed with me and complains everytime I roll over.
