This week I have an unusual spin on one of my favorite topics: happiness. I hope you enjoy it!
A Recipe For MiseryThanks so much for looking!
Ben
I had to listen to your message twice. It brought back memories from fifty years ago. Memories like: If you go looking for happiness you have a really good chance of not finding it. Happiness is a state of mind, an attitude, change your attitude and it will sneak up on you without you even realizing it.
Your message also brought back one of the things that I live by:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the thing I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
As it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will made all things right
I I surrender to his will;
So that I might be reasonably happy in this life
And supremely happy with Him
Forever and ever in the next.
"What Me Worry?" Oh yes, I had a subscription to Alfred's magazine and read it many times
Thank you for your message and reminding me what is really true happiness.
