At least it’s well air conditioned. Not too sure about weather proofing though. Nice find and capture.

Wow, now that is desperation Tom. Another fine find and shot

" desperation " is fine with me, Jack. I wouldn't know what other word to use.

Nice find Tom. I agree, I think it is past the pole stage!

Don

Hi, Don.

I looked for evidence that the barn was still being used. I couldn't reach a conclusion one way or the other.

Seriously, all of those poles make this look like a world class dead-fall trap.🤨

Ha, had to laugh at that. But I haven't seen anything running around that would require a trap of that size.

Thanks for the visit.

Why even waste time or poles to prop that up? Asking for a friend.

I have no answer, Ken. I was trying to calculate what size of a blast zone that thing had if it came down while I was near it. My penchant for getting close to my targets has a high risk factor some time

Nice catch but I think it needs more than 1 pole to keep it standing.

Dodie

Hey, Dodie.

I think the best course of action here is to stage a pole-jerking party. People bet on how many poles have to be removed before it falls. The winner, or winners, who called it right get the money.

A little roof work and a bit of paint may be appropriate, but it looks great!

Well, Dave, that is a theory that might need further contemplation.

It'd good to hear from you.

Fantastic image!! Tom
Years ago there was a bigger barn in about the same condition on the road I lived on, that barn stood for close to twenty years , the property was donated to the Conservation Commission and tore the barn down, so there is no way how many years longer it would have stood.

Well, Frank, being the incurable gambler that I am, I might be ripe for a plucking but I'm giving it a very short future.

Wonder how long that will last!

My gut reaction is that we all need to head for the hills...it could fall any time. But these old barns can be tough hombres. It's a hard call.

Well, I don't think a pole is going to help you. I can read you the last rites...no charge for a friend.

Great find and a nice shot! One thing I can proclaim without reservation: This is not Amish construction!

Nice shot, Tom. I think those poles are serving as last legs.
