Thanks, Don! I had never been south--always going west--so this was all new to me. Sunrise/sunset, anywhere there's water, makes me happy!! Were you into photography when you lived in LA?

Yes, I was Diane. If you ever get back to the area I highly recommend a visit to the New Orleans French Quarter (of course), the homes along St. Charles Ave and garden district and the plantation homes along the Mississippi River. See my Flickr page, link below, for the areas I mentioned. Well worth your time.

Gorgeous skies, well framed.

Thank you, Raymond--the skies were eye-popping backdrops for the bridges and I loved every moment of being there!

Thank you, Don. The group of people gathered around the bonfire were there celebrating a birthday party and, I thought, added an interesting story to the overall image.

Wonderful images of the plantations, Don--would love to see them! While in Biloxi, I wasn't expecting to see the newer homes built up on pilings along the coast road, and my friend explained to me that many of the colonial homes along the waterfront were destroyed by Katrina. Such a sad loss.
