I didn’t win a raffle today neither , just wasn’t my day. I didn’t go this afternoon to knit 🧶 and natter, had a better offer elsewhere !!!!?

No more news 🗞️ we are low this week with news . We don’t want the sort our jinx sent. I’m thinking of you jinx, heartfelt. Lisa another day and upwards? So stay safe and calm and warm. Enjoy ☺️ each other. Love yawl. See you tomorrow.

Sorry ladies. I have been AWOL again.

Alan has had his operation. They were hoping just to remove the gallstones, but there were more and bigger ones than expected, plus an infection. He had had to wait too long for the op. He now has four bullet holes ( keyhole surgery) including one huge one through which everything including a 1" stone was removed. He was sent home after a few hours, and was violently sick on the way home, from the anaesthetic.

Following all of which he will not stop and let himself heal. He's driving me mad.

I'll catch up now.
Sorry ladies. I have been AWOL again. br br Alan... (show quote)

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:57 am EDT and 4'C (39'F) going up to 13'C (55'F) with showers.
I need to go at lunch time to renew my license and health card.
The drive in and out of work was busy. Work was also busy, but not as many people were in this time, and they weren't at the alternate site, because I checked. I made sure I contributed to "workplace culture". I also read an article on the internet that says that having people together in work makes them think of their co-workers as friends and they are more likely to work for less money to stay with their friends. This year is a negotiating year for our contract. hmmmmm
Experts are saying that wildfires in the western half of this country are going to be worse than last year because of lack of snow pack in the mountains and prairies. (What's left to burn after the extensive fires last year?)
I knit a bit on a shawl that didn't require much brain power.

There’s no way any body of sane mind would work for less money. Unless you don’t like them

If that project doesn't have your love, then frog it and start something else. I once finished a project that I knew I wasn't going to love. It sat for months before I finally frogged it and reclaimed the yarn. I guess I didn't have anything better to do at the time.
If the tax man sent the documents electronically would he accept them back the same way. Check with him. We have documents at work that we can "electronically sign". My signature is messy when I'm doing it by my finger but it is still recognizable.
It could be that Mooch found somewhere to deep sleep. Tazi does that sometimes. She is so deeply asleep that she startles when we touch her.
Good luck with your car.

I have my signature saved on my computer, so can add it to documents.

We have Downy woodpeckers (they're little) and now we have red bellied woodpeckers (who don't have a red belly at all). We have a pair so hopefully they will stick around.

That's a very pretty woodpecker.

I don’t think youre depressed jolly. I think you’ve just got fed up with being used……..if you’d been a man the garage would never have treat you like the way they did. You’ve got lots of things to worry about and you sail through your problems. And……you always cope because you come through it. Keep it up, don’t let the b*****s grind you down.

I have a few problems when I need to use acrylic yarns; psoriasis irritates my skin and sets of new sites of psoriasis lesions, which are more painful than the lesions that form with no help from other source's, so I rarely use acrylic yarns. It doesn't help that most of my girls have many issues with, that includes my beautiful gdk's! 🤔🤣😂🤣

I am now going to do a bit of a catchup, while I am having a reasonably good few hours. I really hope that everyone is having as good a day as possible, and those who are awaiting some medical treatment for continuing ailments.💖🤒😵‍💫🤧 Hugs to all who need them! xoxoxo

I only knit with acrylic, as I am allergic to most animal fibres, including lambs wool.

I was up at 4:30 this morning, because Tazi-kitty saw the sun coming through the blinds and figured the day had started. (She wanted her breakfast).
I hope you can get ready and don't feel rushed.

Got thru the appointment by sleeping in car while son went inside. Had lunch at Cracker Barrel and then went to see a movie half price Tuesday slept in car waiting for movie time and nodded off during the ads in theater. Nice man held the door for me. So cute I wanted to flirt but didn’t. Loved the movie about world war 2. Your kitty is better than an alarm clock. Min is like that too

There is a huge gossip at work that I try to avoid (and it isn't a woman!)
Bundle up in your woolens and stay warm and dry.
Love you back Susan

I remember. When someone asked my neighbor what was happening and my neighbor said “nothing I want to talk to you about.’ Loved it

Good morning all from a sunny/cloudy, wet/dry Norfolk, one of those days. Been busy again in the kitchen, as usual, but nothing else planned so will knit this afternoon, up to the decrease on the first sleeve. Have a good day if you can. xx

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:55 am EDT and 5'C (41'F) with some rain this morning. It will be 9'C (48'F) with sunshine this afternoon.
I will try to get up the fencing on the sides of the main garden so DD can start working it.
I'm late for making an appointment to get my winter tires off. This was probably the last winter for them anyways so I'm not that concerned.
We ran out of licenses again at work. This happens every year when the students arrive. My boss' boss doesn't want to buy licenses mid-year, but I keep telling him that I will use them. He now has one of my teammates doing a report about how many new accounts we put on each year. (He should be including WHEN those new accounts are added. They're not all added at the beginning of the year!) My boss is leaving. He will go from being a supervisor with my employer to a manager with the provincial government. Most people in my line of work only stay at any job for 2-3 years and then move their way up. My team is odd because most of us have stayed with this same employer for most of our working career.
I found a project from last year and was working on it. I had to redo the ribbing on one sleeve, finish the other sleeve and now I'm finishing the body length of this t-shirt. It's knit in silk and yak so it's really warm. Probably too warm for the weather now, but when I'm finished I'll get a long cable back.

Mum was snoozing in her car waiting for her doctor's office to open and someone banged on the window and asked if she was ok.
No one holds doors for anyone here. It's not politically correct.
