Glowing Red Eyes, Etc

I get a kick out of hearing stories about creepy creatures that people have reported seeing. Why do they always have red, glowing eyes? It's not like flashbulb "redeye." The glow comes from within. I'm sure that scientists would love to examine one of these creatures and find out why their eyes are glowing.
And another thing - Why do UFOs have so many lights? Reports often say these ships had lights all over them, sometimes white and sometimes different colors. On earth, planes and boats use minimal lighting, so why do alien spacecraft need so many lights?
In my humble opinion, people are too quick to believe nonsense, but they are skeptical of scientifically proven facts. If another intelligent species ever evolves on earth after we're gone, I hope they are more intelligent.

UFO'S are real. Our Government even admits to it now.
My guess is that there is more that just one advanced cavillation watching us.

I believe the "UFO" part, but that's as far as I'll go. "Unidentified." I don't believe there is any intelligent life close enough to visit us. I doubt there is any intelligent life anywhere but (supposedly) on earth.

Those aren't lights, they are view ports and the interior is lite. Why so many view ports? Those are tourist cruise ships loaded with tourists (a lot take photos) come to see the strange creatures of the planet size, natural habitat zoo.
