Just came back from my yearly trip to Florida . I knew about the painting Buntings but I wanted some good shots which I found did not come easy . After four days and many hours it finally happened !

Great shots of spectacularly colorful bird. We had 5 males, along with the associated females hanging around our yard and feeder this year but they have finally migrated north. We don't expect them back until next winter, hopefully the same 5, plus their offspring. Cheers....
