Yes it was somewhat of a lie. But be a man now and admit every nation conceived back then or before had typical problems. But every bit of that was going on in other civilized countries across the globe. Blacks and Muslims are STILL to this day keeping slaves. Where is the Democratic Party speaking out against such behavior? Where is Daddy Biden? Why is he not speaking out against such practices? How about you? You are good at running your mouth. Where are your comments right here about slavery still being carried on in other countries. So much for the good little Democrats standing up for freedom for all huh? You do that ONLY to gather votes. POS Biden wants to help the little college students who owe Billions in student loans. But that is only to have those cheap dumb ass students vote for him. What about students who take out loans these days? Will they have recourse in 20 years to tell us they are not going to pay because those students ahead of them did not pay?

Due to the Republican Party in the 1860's slavery was ended after the Civil War. Due to the Republican Party in the 1960's blacks began to recognize their rights and rightful place in America. There is nothing whites can do these days blacks cannot do IF they choose to do so. Their freedom, their equality is up to them now to do as they choose.
Yet you on the Left still whine and bitch about the rights of blacks in America. You should really be bitching to them to get an education, get a job, marry the mother of your children and be the man of your family.

I should just ignore you. I've outed you before regarding your father. You love to invent history. Please just stay in your fantasy world down under. I will ignore you hereafter.

Please tell us where my imagination has gone wild with history. Or we could talk about 5watt valve amps or Teles or photography. My father was Leo Fender, I'm Tex Fender. How do you do! I've seen you at the other site carrying on like a pork chop. I doubt you know me there, there are a lot of Tex based avatars

So far the usual trolls fail to provide cogent counterpoints to the well reasoned responses posted here.
Rather they deflect, insult, and simply ignore the importance of our 2nd Amendment AND from whence it derives its Sovereignty. Most pushing for more 'gun control' in the US are either politicians afraid of an armed citizenry (much as king george SHOULD have been) OR like soros, gates, pelosi, shoo-mer, biden, obummer, clinton have 24 hour armed security provided for them.
Anyway - I digress. And Dennis - I don't paint the left with a broad brush on this issue. Recent surveys have shown a 'remarkable' uptick amongst those on the left with first time firearms purchases and licenses to carry concealed.
As promised I have attached compendia from a few months of recent magazine articles reviewing incidents of folks defending themselves from all types of predators - from 4 legged to 2.
As we know - the usual trolls will continue to deflect, ignore, or otherwise post irrelevancies. Not ONE can dispute ANY of the incidents posted in the attachment. Having a firearm is like having a parachute. You hope using it Never becomes necessary. But better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Dude - my apologies. I've mistaken you for another entitled liberal (his dad was a well known artist, maybe an author) who never had to work for a living and fled from the USA to the land down under. I have a GREAT respect for your dad and the company he built - who much like Henry Ford came up with an innovative product and capitalized on it. And sure - with my MSEE (among others) and a Digitech RP7 Valve and its 12AX7 (sorry the guitar is a 1975 Guild M80-CS, not a Fender), we could chat about the merits of Analog vs Digital - but enough about us. Not sure what 'other site' you're referring to (unless it's F-Book where I try NOT to rant but DO post conservative) - and lets return to the issues in the post.

I've seen you at the Tele forum. But in Range View we have both kinds of guitars, both kinds of hats and a 15 wattt tweed 5E3 as well. Leo Fender is not really my father ... I'm a Trump.

Sorry - must be a different Merlin on the Tele forum. I've never had a Telecaster, nor any Fender guitar.

Thanks, I'll pass it on to the Missus. The kid (he's 29) is a neighbor, this was about half way thru lock down. I'm in charge of uncle Donald's Australasian merch distribution. I can deliver the latest merch, at mates rates, to the US as well. Just send the money.

Which is too bad. Those on the liberal left might actually learn something about personal responsibility and defense-of-self and family.

I didn't have to open it to get the message: good guy with a gun! We've heard that over and over again. What the extreme right does not understand is that liberals and independents own and use weapons as we see the need. They are a tool on the farm just as much as a tractor, we enjoy target practice and to hunt for food on our table. Guns have a place and purpose based on need. That's it!

A reasoned, and reasonable reply. Thank you.

Although some liberals and many independents own and use weapons as needed, these same liberals and independents support and vote for rabid-democrat senators and representatives who are dedicated to disarming citizens and disallowing defense of self, family and others.

Not a single non-conservative I know wants to take away any mentally stable person's guns which were obtained legally.

And with a seemingly tyrannical government such as your idiotic moronic POS Biden proposes along with the same caliber of Left Wing anti American supporters such as yourself it would seem Conservatives see the 2nd Amendment, which you are trying to dispose of, very much in need.

An oft repeated statement you on the Left disregard, The Founding Fathers did not enact the 2nd Amendment to have for use on a farm, as a tool when needed, to enjoy target practice and to hunt for food. The NEED for the 2nd Amendment, the Guarantee of We the People to Keep and Bear Arms is based upon the NEED to fight a tyrannical government. Your lying and corrupt side heading America toward Socialism points out that NEED quite accurately.

Then why all the nonsensical bullshit about taking away rifles such as the AR and AK platform types? Were you lying then or are you lying now? Which is it?
