Are RAW files really RAW?

......And, you were not even comparing noise reduction, because every different exposure & Iso had a different need for noise reduction.
There is no saving this effort, and certainly not by concluding everyone in the world is wrong except you.....

He did say he did it out of boredom. Nothing is wrong with doing that. I sometimes run casual real world checks of one thing against another. The only significant difference between his and mine is that I keep mine to myself.

When doing such stuff one may or may not dig up any useful data, but either way there is no rationale for posting personal casual tests as if they would have any value to anyone else !

If you extract any useful data from the below attached comparison, let me know, and maybe Ill invent enuf of a back story to publish it as an advice thread
