Trump didnt encourage Putin, Trump pushed NATO to pay what they comitted to pay, which they should.
So let me get this straight you are opposed to the U.S. fighting a war but you are good with them funding a war. Does that make any sense?
You need to get your facts straight.
The FACT that trump CHOSE to side with Putin in Helsinki on June 16, 2018 over US intelligence was the second visible sign that trump was siding with Russia and Putin.
The first visible sign was when trump tossed out his interpreter and everyone else from the meeting in the Oval Office with the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, and the Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak on, I believe it was, May 10, 2017, where trump revealed highly classified information to the Russians.
No matter how hard you try to gloss over what trump tried to do to NATO, trump has been pushing to withdraw the United States from the NATO Agreement.
What does NATO stand for? Here's a little light reading for you to educate yourself with.

NATO came to the defense of the United States on September 11, 2001 when we were attacked by foreing operatives.
The only time that NATO troops have been activated to protect a member nation is when the United States was attacked on September 11, 2001!

Let's not forget that Russia is also looking at taking Alaska back. Did you miss the recent detections of Russian aircraft near Alaska?

Where would you draw the line and say that Putin and Russia have gone too far in their intended land grabs?
Russia CHOSE to invade a sovereign country in a land grab.
Putin is desperately trying to put the USSR back together before he either loses power, or dies.
