I went down to Independence Dam along the Maumee River, Defiance Ohio. I didn't take my long lens and you might know an eagle flew and I saw 2 eaglets in the nest.

And Notre Dame is making amazing restoration progress. I saw a piece about a Maine carpenter who had been working on the trusses in the spire - hand hewn and using craftsmanship as would have been used in the originals. Fascinating.
