It is obviously a good thing that we are off the record high murder rates (and other violent crime) of the past few years but I would ask what is the attribution if any as seemingly the same “justice reform” no bail district attorneys are in office in many of our crime ridden cities, police and sheriffs departments are still understaffed and officer’s hands are tied by non pursuit policies, stop and frisk policies and a lack of desire to aggressively ferret out bad guys proactively (so called Ferguson affect). So while we celebrate could you offer attribution so we can continue on this trend?

I appreciate you offering an opinion but in my experience with gang bangers and participants in other criminal enterprises, they don’t suddenly quit slinging dope, organized retail theft, committing acts of violence on competitors because there are help wanted signs at the McDonald’s. They go with what they know.
