Shot yesterday April 14th at Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary in Ladner, BC.
This is a follow-up to my March 30th post of her in the nest on her two eggs.
After feeding sessions (insects - about every 5-10 minutes) to my surprise, she climbed into the nest
and sat right on top of the two chicks. It's still pretty cool here, so it's for the warmth I guess.
To give you some idea of scale, the nest is only 1" tall.

Great shots. That nest is so camouflaged with the lichens on that tree. Amazing creatures.
