Did any of you ever install the software that comes with a SanDisk flash drive?

No, I deleted it.
I just want a storage device.

That's why I'm asking.
It might be a tiny installation, but it might come with junk.
Well, I clicked on it. It brought me to this site, offering programs to install. WD owns an awful lot! I'll look through the programs later.

No I never. I format the drive to make sure it's gone. Some people on the UHH had problem with those type of software.
I don't care what it is or does, I simply don't need the added clutter.

I lost a drive and downloaded the 1 year pass for access to a recovery programme on it. It might have worked in less traumatic cases but here (as my neighbour with access to much better gear than me described it) the front door was welded shut!

I buy SanDisk CF cards and SD cards for my baby….Canon 5D Mark II. I never gave it a second thought. Now I will. Thanks Jerry!
I never have SanDisk SSD but do have plenty of CF and SD cards. Sandisk now belongs to Western Digital.

I always download this, works very well and retrieves files you deleted for your cards.
