Anybody using 500px or Behance? Any advice?

My Tumblr account has been terminated and so far I have not been able to discover why but I am now looking for another site to, primarily, display photos. Free is best though being able to sell a shot would be nice too.

Not sure if this is correct, but isn't 500px owned by a Chinese company? And they limit the number of free uploads per week? And one sells photos through Getty? I know people who use it but have not personally used it.
Smugmug (which I use) allows one to customize their website and to sell photos through them directly. They charge for the unlimited uploads package.
I also use Flickr which again charges for unlimited uploads but provides a "community" of users to comment on photos, etc.
More and more photographers are posting on Instagram, don't know if one can sell photos through that site.
Will be curious to see what others post.

I have a Flickr account, and I do like it, looking for extra exposure, I did read 500px is owned by the Chinese, managed from Canada, different reports of how many uploads per week ( 7 or 20 ) but that number would not bother me though it would make getting started slower, Instagram is reportedly too vast of universe to make any impression there plus it supposedly is primarily video based on the reports I've found.
Still looking!

Instagram is not at all (IMO) video based, most of the professional photographers I follow post primarily photos. It is indeed a vast universe and the professional photographers I follow are presumably trying to encourage people to sign up for trips with them or masterclasses though often they do advertise sales for their photos, etc via links to other sites. You might check it out for a professional photographer you know.
