The longhorn breed, long a symbol of Texas. Here are a few I found on the Ennis Bluebonnet Trails yesterday.
A pair in the bluebonnets near a pond. Lots of people around photographing these. Maybe 40 or so. Didn't disturb them a bit.

Longhorns start to get their horns early. Look closely at the calf.
