Nice with the ocotillo in bloom. I miss spring in the desert.

Wow, this one is different. It looks like the one on the left is introducing the colorful one. I like it. They really do have personalities!
They do seem to have personalities. I don't know if I would go that far with plants...but I'm not going to reject the idea out of hand!
If you look closely, you can see back in the middle distance several ocotillo blooming as well as the one in front. If I did focus stacking all of them could be sharply in focus. I'm going to have to look into that! My photo gear is capable of doing that in camera, I just need the software.
Thanks, Barb!

Love your Spring desert images Chief!

Thank you again, buddy! I love them too. But I'm smart enough to join the migration to cooler climes, so I'll find some more spring, somewhere up the road, next week!
I appreciate it, Doc!!

When I see a field of cacti like this I can't help but think that a bunch of thin people are waving at me. Another nice shot, Chief.
I'm the same way, Dave! Seems like they are saying "Hey! Good to see you again! Where have you been?" And I'm always glad to be back!
Thank you, Chief!!

Thanks very much! I'm always trying to make it back in the spring. Usually not as good as this year, but always worth the trip. It all depends on the rain!
Thanks

Nice photo!
Thank you, Cloudhopper! I'm glad you liked this one. Any problems with the tornados where you are?
Very nice! The desert is quite green right now as you know. And the Ocotillo in the foreground gives your capture a nice contrast.

Thank you, MT. It's appreciated! If you look close, there are more blooming Ocotillo, in focus, further back in the scene. I should have had the foreground Ocotillo in better focus, I was thinking the ones further back would be more prominent! I can always find something that I don't like about any of my photos!
I'm glad you liked the photo anyway!
Beautiful photo. Iād be afraid to walk among those spiny vegetables.
I think I've seen that place Keith.
