I convinced my friend to do sunrise and then to also stay through the rain. When we turned around, everyone else had left and we had this view to ourselves. Sometimes it's worth it to stand in the rain and wait.
WOW! I’ve never seen a rainbow like that.

[Bleepin'] killer, Vertical.
And ayup. Being there --whether you hung on in there from a time earlier on, or whether you preplanned your arrival just right-- for conditions to become [bleepin'] killer is 99.9% of that which makes the ayuptitude right.
'Nuther words, Vertster: Good Stuff. Very Good Stuff.
Outstanding work! Put this on your wall.

That's a great image. I've never seen a landscape with a rainbow that covered more than 180 deg., and a double bow to boot. Serendipity and fanciful to have the opportunity like this. And it's one thing to happen upon this rainbow and another thing to get it in the camera. Good job, Good show.
All this aside, rainbows are very technical things. If you were to draw a line from your eyeball to the center of that rainbow, the first inner bow would be exactly 43 degrees from that line for every rainbow, that's why they always appear the same size no matter how near or far you think they are.

Awesome capture ! Well done.
I'm impressed that's a unique rainbow!
Beautiful--that's some rainbow.
I shall deem this the best photo I have seen here today.
Patience in Photography usually pays. Turning around and taking in a 360 degree view also doesn’t hurt.
