My Easter expedition to Conowingo was very productive; I not only enjoyed taking the photograph, but I am continuing to enjoy processing and posting them. I certainly hope I am not boring you.

Certainly "OMG!" captures πŸ’ŽπŸ’ŽπŸ’ŽπŸ’ŽπŸ’Ž

I have a nest of them in the area I visit, run by the state of Indiana. The tree is about twenty feet from the road, and for the second year, they have posted signs to keep you from getting within 150 feet of the tree. Not very conducive to getting good shots (although I get as close as I want since there is nobody there during the week). Have never gotten a shot of an eagle in flight, although I check there often. Exciting - and a disappointment at the same time

No limitations at Conowingo, and they do occasionally perch in the trees near the hordes of photographers. That alone is a sight to behold. there must be many hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars of photographic equipment on sight any given weekend morning.

How any A HOLE can shoot something so beautiful and important is beyond me. They should be keel-hauled and, if they survive that, slice them up and feed them to the eagles.

Agreed, Tom. You can just as much sense of accomplishment shooting with a camera.

Thanks for sharing! I made the trip on Tuesday,no action. Dam was running wide open. I don’t know if that was a factor or not.

You're welcome. It probably was a factor.
