There were many more bikes and cars driving by. It was my first ever attempt trying motion blur shots so at least 80% of the pictures were not sharp.

When we used to go to Vegas to visit my mother in-law, back in the 1990's I would take one of my bicycles with me and ride out to Red Rock Canyon early in the morning. It would be so quiet and not much traffic and temperature would be in the upper 80's low 90's at that time of the morning. I wouldn't want to ride out their now with the housing that is out that way..

Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas, NV is a popular tourist attraction and a great hiking spot. Normally people post pictures of the red cliffs, boulders, cacti, burrows and coyotes. But if someone likes cars, it is a perfect place for "car watching", it's like people watching but for cars.
Last Sunday I took pictures of a bunch of cars and bikes, some with long exposure to motion blur the background and some with fast shutter speed.
I hope you will enjoy the pictures.

Very interesting serie DamianLV! I love the old man with whit beart riding an HarleyDvds...he looks cool and relax! You were standing at the right spot to catch nice shots and You it perfectly! If I get the luck to visit this area, I will come there!!!Thanks for sharing

Thank you, I was changing the spot 3 times, just to make the background more interesting. And the guy on Harley is my favorite :)

A fun set of pictures of some interesting rides. Did you get all of these in one sitting or is this a multi-day project. From the look of the weather, it looks like one day which is an interesting statement of who's going to Las Vegas. Hope they all come back with their rides.
