I appreciate those who are “defending” my post, but just to be clear, I actually intended to post it to Photo Gallery but I inadvertently must have not succeeded. What I find most disturbing is the ridiculous level of vitriol directed at me. What’s the matter with these folks? Calling for me to be executed for the “crime” seems a tad extreme and the incivility in this forum is reaching new highs (or is it lows?) to the point that it’s becoming more unpleasant to participate with each passing instance. Im compelled to mention that it seems so many of these nasties are members with thousands of posts. I guess it’s easier to run up 35,000+ posts when a lot of them are snide remarks. Rant over. Until the next time. 😎

You know, I had your back. Sure it belongs in the gallery, you made a mistake. Some people said it was in the wrong forum. No big deal. But now you’re turning this into another “War on Christmas”. It’s a nothing burger. I just went through the entire 6 pages looking for the vitriol you complained about. There is absolutely NO vitriol directed at you. Where did someone call for your execution? 100% of the vitriol has come from you and those haranguing the few people that pointed out that the post belongs in the Photo Gallery.

Most will agree these are simple casual family snap shots, with a background that is typical of a home environment, nice camera but...
I also have thousands of "snap shots" of my grandson just like these and to me... they are priceless. I would not be motivated to post any of them here in the main forum, unless they had some kind of technical significance.
Have you ever lived through a three- hour- long Kodak slide show featuring children at play in diapers at your in- laws home back in the 1960's or 70's? ... good grief the memories and sounds of the projector... and the never ending pile cassettes being loaded one after the other.
Whats is the purpose of posting snap shots other than to connect with other members that may share a sence of empathy for kids they will never meet in their lifetime?
Hmmm, it does seem to be a new direction of this forum...
