I had decided to attempt a timelapse of the eclipse, weather permitting. Never had a clear day to practice, until Sunday.
SeeStar could not find the sun... Reached out to a friend on youtube, and she suggested a way around this.
I found the sun using the built-in astro search, had it perfectly centered, but back at the main screen, nope, no sun here...
Kept trying this approach, and the eclipse got under way. You could see it in the scope, clear as day. Back to the main screen, nope, nope nope, YES!
So, I missed the first bit, but captured from about 25 minutes in, until the clouds came in about halfway through the withdrawal. I am going to try
and upload the result, but may be stymied because of file size. It jiggles around a bit, where I had to recenter it through the app.
No ;uck with the upload. It tried for about 5 minutes, then got the "unable to find this page" message. Oh well...

Hi Bloke,
You found out, as I did, that you need to use Youtube for your time lapses.
I saw it in your other post and it came out great!
Looks like your Seestar is really working out great for you.

I am looking forward to doing some moon work, now that the moon is moving back into the evening sky...

Big smiling Waxing Moon now.
Great time as it is easily viewable in the Western Sky. (For me anyway.)
