The sun on monday was the same size as it was on sunday. With that opportunity for a simple test, how could you wind up with a TC on a 200-600 that forced you to zoom back to minimum FL ??!!!? Thaz reeeeeeeally strange.

Nice. I looked thru some nice lady's eclipse glasses that stopped to talk while walking her dog. = Partial at that time around 2:15-2:30 pm. Pretty neat.

Agree that it seems crazy to use teleextender and shoot at short end of zoom! But it was by necessity
To partially fill frame needed 600 mm 1.4 extender and even then cropping
At totality sun was at zenith , could not find it unless zoomed out to 200 then things happened very fast, wound up grabbing shots at 200 not by choice but by necessity handheld!
If I were to see another eclipse would get better tripod mine creeped and lost aim when zooming, lens also needed refocusing

Your flares are the best I've seen so far. Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
