Here's a picture of that famous horse. It says something about the 1970s that this was a big hit, considering the lyrics. π
When the song came out, a Philly radio station had a contest to name him.
Sin nombre won.
I drove a drive-away car once, across country from Flagstaff, AZ. The car I got was a Mustang with a straight six (it was a dog), and an AM radio. Every twenty miles or so I would find a new AM station playing that song. By the time I got home I hated America. The band, that is.
Perhaps a meeting of the "Mis-nomered" support group?
I don't get it!
What am I missing?
The house on the right has no name.
What's the joke?

Oops! Sorry.
The horse on the right is the one with no name on it tag.

That picture is fake. Silver is white and Trigger is a palomino.

See the other comments, it's a joke about the song, A Horse with No Name by America (band) that was a hit in the states in the 70's. If you were a teen/young person back then when we thought it was so serious and mystical, then it's funny, because it's a silly metaphore. LOL, but still mystical to me!
Writer Dewey Bunnell said the horse is "a metaphor for a vehicle to get away from life's confusion into a quiet, peaceful place"
Wow, I thought it was a rented horse and he just didn't know its name.

I suppose you are referring to 'horse" being slang for heroin
