Great set Mike, especially the Avocet!
Thanks, Mark, great light helps.
Thanks, Joe, the cormorants have wonderful eyes when you have good light.
Beautifully composed and presented, Mike. Fabulous detail in the downloads.
Good set Mike. Particularly the first one.

That's another bonus, for sure. The Yakima River Canyon route is somewhat similar in all its curves. How far is this sanctuary from where you live?

Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is located where the Bear River joins the Great Salt Lake in northern Utah. It is home to 67 species and 210 species use it in their migrations. The 80,000 acre site has a 12-mile auto loop that circles the major marsh area.
This set shows the birds that I encountered on my way to the entrance for the auto loop.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.
Very nice Mike, I really like the long-billed curlew!

Gorgeous set ! Love the RWBB ........thanks for sharing
Great series, Mike. BTW you asked me if I was going to watch the eclipse today, it is so heavily overcast today and it might rain, so I doubt it, but will have a few minutes of darkness, YEA.
