More from Easter's shoot at Conowingo. The double crested cormorant was having a bad hair day.

Outstanding job, done perfectly, Max

Bad hair day for the cormorant Do you remember Professor Irwin Corey from TV when you were a kid

Beautiful shots. Number 7 reminds me of an experience I had with an eagle. Riding my motorcycle on a straight stretch of road with the wind blowing from one side making a perfect wave above it. A bald eagle was riding the wave, sitting there about three feet above my head as I went underneath him. I could have reached up and touched him. I didn't. I like my hand on my arm where it belongs. Those things are huge, and you don't realize it until you get that close and really see them.

Thank you. I recommend that you go as soon as possible. While there are eagles present year round, some will soon be travelling north as the ice melts on their traditional feeding spots.
