During that first eclipse.

During the first eclipse I worked with a model name Mary. I have to post this here as the other location for the fotum does not allow nudes.

The story:
So, your so correct, animals do not act any differently. With heavy leather gloves on picking up a completely docile 7 foot diamond back rattle snake and moving it away from where I was photographing the nude model that day (you know girls, there such a bother over snakes!). Stupid snake!

So, I had to take the shoot into my studio indoors.

Mary, she does not like snakes.

Loads, all on film material. This is a 5X7 inch negative, using the 240mm Heliar lens, on a 5X7 German built view camera, that was the lens, that Brassai used to shoot The Night Life of Paris, a very large fast lens at the time, here it is stopped down to f16, known for its speed and clarity when stopped down. I love old equipment!

Old equipment can be fun. I don’t have any except an old Kodak that I can’t get the shutter to work but it’s probably 100 years old. It was my great grandfathers.
I’d like to see more of the pictures that you took.
