US Army 1968-1971 Vietnam era. came out as an E5 which I reached within my first year. I worked in photography both in Vietnam as a lab tech for the 131st aviation co which did aerial recon work and for the second half of my three years I was at white sands missile range doing both lab work and photography of missile launchings and general base functions. I learned a lot about photography in general in the military but actually got started in it in high school in 1963.
