Yes they have.

Oh good. I had to ask because with all the cats I have dealt with through the years, the males when neutered 'seem to be' more less likely to go out and fight. But predators and other cats will mess with them.
I have AT LEAST 30 ferals and abandons fixed with my name on them. I now today have three kitties that were stray, feral or ? that are now part of my house. One I just fixed up Wednesday. She is a sweety.
You are good man with a good heart to care for these guys as you have. I offer you my respect.
Sincerely, Bruce.

Great idea! I wish I could afford one. As you have discovered, being neutered doesn't keep them from rambling. It does help with the population though.

Just an aside. My daughter and her family took two kittens about three years ago from the same litter. One grew up to be very friendly and the other standoffish. He was the king. Both boys. Recently the "king" became sick and despite all efforts to safe him he passed away. The two cats did not play together. In his absence, Simba has suddenly become more playful. Any cat psychologists out there?

Wish I were. Cats are just too mysterious to figure out, and I've had cats all of my 70 plus years.

I hear ya. I've had quite a few cats myself and I must admit that Toby was an odd duck. We've decided that if one of them had to go we're glad it was Toby.

One time I brought home two feral kittens that had been born at the library where I worked. I captured one earlier than the other and he had not become feral at all. The other one had. However, he'd allow me to hold and pet him for quite awhile. I named them Dickens and Dewey. At 3 a.m. we could hear them tearing around the house with the dog in close pursuit. Hilarious. One time they got into the hamper. To get to them the dog tore a hole in the back of the hamper. We still have the hamper. Fun times.

Since we've had shadow and silver, we've let them out in the morning to roam where they will and closed them in before dark. They've both come home a couple of times with evidence of tussles with other cats but nothing that required the attention of a vet. However, about a month ago silver came home pretty beat up. He required stitches on his belly and both sides of his neck. After dealing with the shock of his condition, taking him to the vet and taking a big hit on the pocketbook, we decided the guys will no longer be free range cats. Hence, the Catio.

Oh wow! Beautiful. I better make sure my cat never sees this. He'll regret being rescued by me. Lucky kitties and great work!
