They are both very nice, but #2 is the most interesting.

Depends on what the story is. If its relational, then #1.

I like the both very much, but perhaps #2 just a little bit more. Nice work.

I like close, but because of the visual drama of two, I’d pick it.
Both are great.

#1 is a nice shot BUT #2 tells a story, and I like the shot to tell a story. Guess it's the photojournalism in my background.

Prefer #2... birds in threes usually add personality to the scene.

Which image do you like best? These two shots were taken a few seconds apart, but I was using a zoom lens and the first shot was taken at 324 mm and the second at 151 mm. Both shots were taken with a Canon R6 at SS 1/200 (to capture the rain drops), ISO 2500, f/7.1 (wide open with this lens). The first shot has a branch in the lower L corner cloned out. Both shots were processed in PS with birds brightened and BG darkened slightly. Both shots are about 75% FF.

The older my eyes get I find myself liking closeups, so I prefer #1

They're both nice, but if I had to choose just one, then it would be the second showing 3 parrots.

Both beautiful. #1 for feather details, bokeh. #2 for story, environment, and I like the darker bokeh background.

They're both unique in feel, I don't think a choice is appropriate. Nice shots.
