Here is a FACT for you little francine, KNIVES are used to commit more murders than those pesky AR's and AK rifles you often want to get rid of. Yet no mention ever of criminals using knives for criminal purposes, ONLY firearms are ever mentioned. Maybe if you losers on the lying corrupt Left would use common sense, look it up, you would see that murder weapons are only tools. Someone had to wield that tool no matter if a firearm, knife, baseball bat, frying pan, hatchet or whatever. Why can't you blame the criminal rather than the gun?

OMG!!!!! You sure are a SLOOOOOOW learner aren't you. Yeah you are right. I never made it as a police officer because I never was a police officer. But I did RETIRE in good standing as a Deputy Sheriff. A few years after that I hired on as a Correctional officer and RETIRED from that profession.

Thank you for your continued posts. After all there may be some new comer to The Attic who does not know how much of a FOOL you truly are. This information should be posted in the rules of The Attic for newcomers, maybe something like, Pay Attention and do NOT fall for the BULLSHIT from lying corrupt Left Wingers from little girls such as francine. Sorry Frank - I didn't like that comment at all. Whether police, sheriff, or correction officer these men put their lives on the line every day. Dennis is much more conservative than me; but like me he is entitled to his opinion.

I don't disagree with the 2nd amendment, although I do believe that there should be some sort of middle ground to prevent known nuts from having access to them. Two of my best friends are gun collectors; and although I don't currently own one, I have thought about getting one to carry - I hear on the news every morning that the local city, Philadelphia, had another person killed by gun fire. One of those DA's that Dennis is talking about is in Philadelphia and the state legislature is trying to impeach him.

Nor is this a color issue; I was at a Good Friday service sitting with a black preacher where we had a pretty good discussion about the failings of that particular DA.

BTW Dennis - have a good Easter. I'm playing the Easter Bunny today and spreading eggs around 3 PM for the egg hunt for my seven grandkids and grand nieces and nephews. I'll hop away now.

Thank you very much for your comment. It is much appreciated. I have one question or maybe comment for you to ponder. These days there are instant checks, waiting periods and so on. Most of the firearms used lately have been purchased completely legally, well except for Hunter Biden's handgun, with background checks having been done. My point is a person could do everything required to purchase a firearm such as you for example. Then a month afterward the person comes home from a bad day at work to find his spouse in bed with someone else. That was the final straw and he shoots both people. There is nothing on earth that can be done to recognize situations like this and take action against them. If the person did not have a firearm he/she would most likely have access to a kitchen knife, ball bat, hatchet, automobile, heavy frying pan, SOMETHING with which to commit a murder when he was in such a rage. There really is nothing anybody can do to stop something like that from happening. But it is time for the ignorant Left to stop blaming the firearm and start blaming and punishing the PERSON who uses that firearm or other weapon to commit murder or other violent crimes. A firearm is no more dangerous to anyone than a frying pan. In my experience as a street cop and in corrections I have seen or know of violent deaths by numerous OTHER weapons than a firearm. All mentioned above are only some of them. Being burned alive is another, a ball point pen stabbed in the neck of a female inmate over a lover's quarrel did not kill the inmate but came very close. I was part of that investigation and a snitch let me know who the offender was who stabbed the victim inmate.

Let's not forget years ago many people carried firearms in their vehicles, kids had them in their vehicles at school, firearms were bought through the mail and the murder rate was less not more than today. The Left like francine want to do away with the 2nd Amendment and so their push for getting rid of firearms.

The plus in all of this is more and more voters are stepping, no, RUNNING away from the Democratic Socialist Party to vote for Trump. At least he still has his sanity and mental capacity left and is surely a better choice for America than POS Biden.
