I think it is an ugly vehicle. Never been inside it.

I never been in one either but the regular car I've been in. The interior is starkly naked. No gauges, no buttons, no dials. Really looks naked and even cheap. All it has is a giant screen and almost EVERYTHING is operated from that screen or your cell phone.
I'm used the a cars interior being more like a cockpit of a Lear jet, with bells and whistles, lights and gauges everywhere. Would take some getting use to I think. The screen is pretty awesome however.

Again, I RESPONDED TO THE LINK POSTED BY Jerry, that's all !!!!!!!!!!

At that time that was all I knew about it and never heard of it before. So, I know more now, actually it the 'todays' look.
By the way, a quick search I just did brought this up:
https://www.autoevolution.com/news/2024-tesla-cybertruck-shows-up-on-ebay-sells-like-hotcakes-might-be-the-cheapest-so-far-231563.html

ALSO;
https://www.caranddriver.com/tesla/cybertruck

So prices vary.

Looking at it again on my desktop I do not have a problem with the looks.
NO DOUBT it is well engineered and built.

At 72 I do not think I will be getting anything new.
So, enjoy your Easter day.

USED prices vary. The cheapest USED price on eBay was, according you your link, $151,000. Another had an offer of $158,000 and the seller turned it down. A Porsche dealership paid $244,000 for one at an auction. These are all USED prices for the 3 motor $100,000 model.

So people are making from $51,000 to $144,000 PROFIT on their $100,000 purchase. This hints that the MSRP of this truck is NOT outrageous.

BTW, pointing out the serious errors in your statements doesn't point to one being "obviously emotionally disturbed." It's rather normal behavior to point out errors in facts, particularly when those errors are claimed as "just the facts and the real truth"One might say your attachment to misinformation seems a bit overboard, particularly insinuating one is "emotionally disturbed" for pointing you in the right direction.

I saw a strange vehicle on the road yesterday, and I quickly realized that it was a Tesla Cybertruck. I don't know how "Cyber" applies, but it certainly is weird looking. You can buy one to haul your next load of building materials home from Lowes for $165+.

I think you might have meant $165,000+. Really great news. Now you don't have to burn all that fossil fuel to get somewhere. Oops! How did that electricity for the charge get generated????

A 1953 Chevy Corvette sold for around $3500 new... today (in today's dollars, so you'll have to figure out the inflation for yourself), they range between $25000 and over $800000 US, so I guess you'd call this speculation that has little to do with long term reality? There's a DeLorean in Hemmings for around $80000, so I guess all this means cars that don't rust are a good buy, even at way above market? Or maybe it's something else? 😉

No the De Lorean was a good buy because nobody was buying them and thus so few of them available now. If they were best sellers they are not worth much today.

It does look good. Under powered and price much higher than the Corvette that Deloreans tried to compete with. Around 8000 were made. I don't know how many are still working now. If you have the car in good shape you can make even when take into account of inflation.

You are so right Bebu;
I think and thought then too it was a good idea and time for car like that. Just recall the Datsun 240z, it took off like crazy. I wanted one sooo bad but my driving record held me back.
Look at the Mazda Miata when it came out. It took off too. I think the DeLorean would have too if given the time and right marketing support. Under powered yea but so is the Miata, I know I have two, a 2000 and 2001 SE.
but fun to drive.

The Miata is quite different from the Deloreans. You don't need a lot of power in the Miata to have fun. The Deloreans needs power badly. The DeLoreans didn't take off and thus it's more valuable now.

I wish they did but you know how it goes, the power would have been improved like other cars have been also. I never drove a DeLorean but sure wish I could have. I thought the concept was good. But hey, things were they way they were back then.

But any way the cybertruck and the delorean only have the stainless steel in common. Even then the delorean has a very thin skin of SS the body is still fiberglass I think. Otherwise there is no thing similar between the 2 vehicles.

Oh yea, obviously they are worlds apart in every aspect except having four wheels in common.
The more I looked at the truck online the more I can see what it is popular among those who can afford it.
To me, if either a gas, diesel or EV, I cannot afford to buy a new or resent model of either of them. What I have works for me.
The EV Tesla truck I personally do not think it is so ugly, and it is not right to say anything without actually seeing one.
My whole statements which generated some BS replies we based on the link Jerry initially posted.
I can live with the looks of it.
In the LONG RUN, What is the impact of EVs which are trying to be forced on us which is stupid.
I would really like to see one and better yet touch and even test drive one.
Ah, as far as the DeLorean, I look back many years ago in a past life and I recall seeing one and it had been very well used and driven. I remember the interior was really Uh ??? well used, seat cover and stuff so it had been used a lot, but then I was just walking by, this is a brief memory from a long gone past life of many.
Since I live in the north Texico area I would think eventually I would see one. I think I will look around to see who has one and go look at it here int he DFW area.
Well anyway Beb, thank you for taking time to chat with me.
Bruce.
