Don’t forget that he also thought he was running against Barack Obama and confused Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi.

If what you profess is being "Christian", I am damn glad that I won't be there!

In my time in church, I was taught to love each other, to only worship on God and no human being is God. Given all that Trump has shown himself to be and his level of depravity, I have been completely turned off by "modern Christianity" or any church leaders that would suggest that Trump is an elected official that the church would say is worthy of respect or even a vote.

My teachings of Jesus Christ are the total opposite of everything that Trump stands for, espouses daily and what he has done in his life without remorse or contrition. He is the antithesis of anything that I have ever read in a positive light from the Bible and I have to wonder what version of the Bible any "modern Christian" is reading that suggests anything about Trump is a Godly man or one that Christians should respect!

My former business partner acted like Donald Trump in his professional and personal interactions. When Trump entered the political arena I thought it was uncanny how similar the two men seemed to me.

My former business partner (deceased in 2014) was both brilliant and flawed. He was creative but only when absolutely necessary. His personal life was a string of failed marriages, business successes and failures, and stints in rehab clinics. I worked with him for 10 years. I learned a lot about what not to do in business and life.

Donald Trump is doomed and his downfall will be of his own making. No outside force will be a factor. His ego and predilections will cause his ruin and those around him will suffer because of him and his actions.

In 2016 on this very forum, I predicted the fall of the Republican Party at the hands of Trump and the disengration of the unity of the country.

As we near the close of the Era of Trump, either by failure or his own mortality, we must attempt to heal the chasm in society that he created.

Thanks to Schumer's threats protestors mobbed the homes of SCOTUS Justices which is against the law. But did the weaponized Left Wing supported FBI or DOJ arrest those protestors who were breaking the law? Of course they did not. In fact one of them made an attempt to assassinate one of the Justices. Where is your outcry toward Schumer for his threatening SCOTUS Justices? Where is your sense of obeying the law, the law written for ALL of us. It ain't there is it? So much for your Christianity, your lack of ethics and morality. To the Left it is all good IF it pushes forward your lies and corruption toward Socialism.

You point out some interesting anecdotes. I have found in law enforcement and corrections there are the established promoted leaders and then there are the unofficial leaders who many on the shift go to when there are questions. I received my fair share of promotions in corrections having gone from officer to Lt. in a fairly short time. In the Sheriff's Dept. I seldom took the test because I liked being a training officer, liked being a CSO and liked patrol work rather than detective work or clerical work had I been promoted. But even as a street cop with a few years experience I found other deputies on a case asking me to come over to their location to assist them with evidence collection, or assistance with an elderly or crazy (5150) subject. Some police officers have this foolish habit of "Jacking Up" a suspect to get him/her to fight. Others have been there and done that enough to realize just going home is the most important part of the day.

On one occasion my reserve partner and heard dispatch tell our Sgt. there was a 5150 with possibly a rifle and his psychiatrist had called to have him taken into custody for evaluation the following day. She wanted to know which deputy to assign the call. He advised to assign me saying, "He does good with these people." Upon arrival at the house each of us was on a side of the door. Sure enough when the 5150 guy opened the door he had a Winchester 30-30 rifle pointed not at us but straight out past us. With great exclamation I asked, Is that a Winchester 30-30? He said yes it was. I told him I had not seen one of those rifles for years and asked to look at it. He said sure and simply handed it to me. My partner unloaded it and locked it up in the trunk of the patrol car. Then we went into the house and I called his psychiatrist for any further instructions. There were none except to transport him to the local psych ward. There is more to the story in that he had to be talked down when the handcuffs were brought out but he ended up being cooperative and there were no problems. Yes I know other may have handled it much differently but they weren't there and I was. Everything went perfectly which is why my Sgt. had the call assigned to me.

In your case your students knew you or knew of you. They knew you were someone who kept his word and could be trusted to be fair. Those two attributes mean just about everything when dealing with people, any people in most situations.
