Taken this past fall. It looks like I was eye level but I was standing one of the storms took a great deal of sand away I was on the shoreline he was on the part that was not washed away. Funny thing there were still a bunch of Skimmers still around. Nikon Z9 ISO 1250 F8 Nikon 400 F4.5 Handheld. After all these years being away feels good being back at Nikon.

Great photo. Why do you say funny them still being around? Trying to learn something about them.

Well there was an unusual amount of birds still here late in the fall. Usually the older Birds leave and the juveniles can fly out when they fly out of here some birds wind up as a meal for Seagulls etc. and others never make it back to where they are suppose to go. I seen new born Birds because they could not find their mom and they walk in front nesting bird being taken up in the air and dropped to their death. And the Gull constant going after the eggs and chicks you may not like it but that is nature. The Skimmers will dive bomb at you when nesting and other Skimmers that are just guarding the nesting area will also come at you and the Terns will come at you with a vengeance and shit on you.
