Several of the prop planes last weekend had "were props"... that is, the props can't be photographed at 1/125; they disappear. And, yeah, I'm not too proud to use an occasional free cloud download to rug over a bald or sparse background.
These were all shot with a 70-200 f/2.8. The first two days I used a 200-500 and appreciated the reach, but most images were a tad soft due to my poor panning at that focal length, and 30mph winds beating on my back. I'll work on those images when there's time...
