Agree. A 100% waste of time and energy. It wouldn't haul my lunchbox.
Yea, for sure. Just look at the logistics with these electric vehicles. The cost is outrageous and they are limited to what they can do. But lies, BS and politics are behind most of this scam.
A sad situation for sure but hey, you are right, carrying ability has to be limited.
Keep it real bro.

Not for me. This EV stuff is to well thought out. There are too many things that need to be put in place to support them. There is one EV that I would potentially consider, that is the Lucid Air. I will stick with my current gas powered vehicle.

Me either. I will stick with my two Mazda Miatas, it is top down weather here in Texas and my Dodge Ram PU truck that can carry more than probably at least 10 of those ugly EV trucks could. I do use batteries in my Nikon D300S and Lumix FZ300, but it works out for me.
Yupper, the eclipse is soon and this place is will crazy crazy crazy but I my camera are ready and hope it works out weather wise so I can post some pics.

I saw a strange vehicle on the road yesterday, and I quickly realized that it was a Tesla Cybertruck. I don't know how "Cyber" applies, but it certainly is weird looking. You can buy one to haul your next load of building materials home from Lowes for $165+.
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-Tesla-Cybertruck-d3353It reminds me of the VW "Thing". Do you remember the "Thing"?

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-Tesla-Cybertruck-d3353I saw one last week and to me it looked like someone designed and built their own vehicle, it looked like there was room for the driver only and looked like it was made of steel or aluminum because it was not painted and nothing that said Telsa on it. Tried to get a photo but traffic was not cooperating.

My nephew ordered on...not sure why
Possibly because of it's heavy duty stainless steel body that should never rust and is hard to dent or scratch, and easy to replace panels and such. Or, it could be it's 2 1/2 ton payload capacity, 11,000lbs towing capacity or 0-60 acceleration in <3 seconds, or it's 320-470 mile range. Many should like the powered bed cover that keeps your stuff dry, hidden and out of reach to near do wells.
Lots of stuff to like if you're of the coal fired vehicle mind set and don't mind polluting the earth with coal fired dirty batteries.
Looks as always are a personal preference thing. This truck is a huge departure from the standard 100 year old look of typical pick up trucks and certainly is not for everyone, particularly those who hate change.
Myself, I prefer a gas hog look of an old Dodge power-wagon

It's worse than ugly. We need a new word to describe it. I didn't think they were being produced.
Yupper. We live about 10 miles from the Tesla factory in Austin. Passed by there going to town yesterday and notice a bunch of them in the factory parking lot.

I think the VW "Thing" is a much more sensible design. It doesn't look good but certainly functional.

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-Tesla-Cybertruck-d3353I just saw my first one at WaWa yesterday and parked my Toyota Tacoma right next to it. I thought it looked better in real life than I expected. the wheels on it were much bigger than on my truck. It had a temp plate from Texas. I wanted to ask the owner about charging it between here and there. But when i came out he was gone.

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-Tesla-Cybertruck-d3353The most useful accessory for a Cybertruck is a portable gasoline generator! Lots of room in the box...

I think it is an ugly vehicle. Never been inside it.
