As I worked up in the area with my squirrels, I was drawn to something at the green fence. Strange, a whole donut! I guess someone thought they'd be nice and share. The animals either didn't like that brand, or they didn't want a sugar high! They have more respect for their bodies! Seems the bugs may be less picky as I thought there might be a few there.
Curious I investigated it more and it was untouched. I saw some pink frosting so I flipped it over to see more. I agree, given the choices, this wouldn't have been mine either. Since I am not the trusting soul I once was and I know there are sadly some sick people, I found a stick and dumped it in the trash can. There, I found a box from Krispy Cream. I guess someone didn't want the last one!
I don't photograph food that often, so I tried a different setting. I didn't get the best shots, but I thought it was interesting enough to share. These guys are very smart. I once saw someone actually leave about a dozen cooked patties on one of the grills. Given our economy these days, thought that was a bit off! They sat there for weeks!
Strang times we live in these days, you never know what you see!

It's the same doughnut, but I agree. Not my choice!
Hey, thanks for responding, it is appreciated!
Krispy Creme tried to get into Conn. a few years back. I recall lo-o-o-ng lines in the parking lot and in the store. I must say that I thought their glazed donut was outstanding!! I see where McDonalds will be partnering with them. Which begs the question...who can afford to go to McDonalds any more? I can't stand their (food) dry hamburgers. My wife and I took our granddaughter there for lunch and it cost us FOURTY-TWO dollars!!!! Good bye Mickey D. I won't miss you.
If you get to the store early the best Krispy Kreme are those warm ones coming out of the rober in the store. Like eating sweet clouds.

I remember when McD food was procured locally and as you traveled, the quality and flavor would change - but, it was all good and all meat - now, I don’t eat there as my system doesn’t handle cardboard too well.
Pick it up, shake the ants off, good to go!! I don't see a problem!?
I would be more concerned about getting OUT of Connecticut!!
I would call this a "sweet" set, Barb.
I don't care for donuts but my raccoons would make quick work of it. They will walk right past soaked dog kibble to get to a donut. Go figure.
