My first time cooking pork chops on a cast iron griddle on the stove top. They turned out good but I like them better cooked on the Weber kettle grill.
Nice, but I agree that it is hard to beat a good Weber kettle.

YES!! Those are def good lookin' chops there,
Paul B. ... and in total agreement as to the Weber! Charcoal adds a certain je ne sais quoi to meat and veggies cooked on it. Nothin' else like it!
(AND don't get me started about medical concerns of cooking with charcoal.... Big Pharma doesn't know TASTE from a Hole in the Ground.... and they have a prescription ready to sell you for crazy $$$ when they "discover" it!)
Sorry for the morning rant.....

I think I'd like any kind of pork chop I didn't have to cook for myself

I use a Pit Boss pellet grill and you can't beat the taste of all meats cooked on one of these. Thanks BE SAFE!!

I hear a lot of good things about pellet grills. I just haven't broke down and bought one yet. Thanks for looking.

My two sons kept telling me how wonderful it was and I finally broke down when they were having a sale at Lowes and bought one. It is so simple. You fire up wait for the smoke, then I put on 350 deg. and when it reaches that temp. (it has a temp gauge and different temp settings) I put the meat or whatever on the grill. Different times for different meats etc. For big thick chops we cook 15 min. go out and flip. Another 15 and the amazing chops are done. You don't have to stand over grill to make sure they are cooking right. To do ribs is awesome. Put on about 250-275 deg. 2-3 hours for good smoke ring, wrap and cook for another 8 hours or so and then the awesome meat comes off the grill. I don't think you would be disappointed at all. Thanks BE SAFE!!
