The first time I ever walked into the Oak Park, IL, Conservatory, I entered their tropical room and was immediately greeted by a friendly "Hel-LO!" I answered "Hi! How are you?" No answer. It was this guy, George. His owners didn't want him, so he was donated to the conservatory. A beautiful subject for shots, but the bars of his cage are substantial since he is pretty powerful! That's why the shots here are narrow - to crop out the bars.
