We stopped at the wall at the end of our walk around Lucca, then boarded the coach for our 2 hour ride back to the ship in Livorno
We were spending the night docked in Livorno, the only such night of the two-week cruise. As we were ready to start dinner, we happened to look outside (easy to do in the World Café, as it is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass). I had my compact camera with me, so I briefly stepped outside, photo 4. If I had only brought my DSLR on the trip, I doubt I would have brought it to dinner and thus would have only been able to take the photo with my phone.

Gorgeous sunsets and rainbow, Dennis!
Gorgeous sunsets, complete with birds.
Lots of smiles from this viewing. A really neat selection of photos. Kudos.
Great set Dennis. I love the sunsets and rainbow as well.
Fine set Dennis. That is one cool looking ferry!

Thank you NMGal. As an "airplane geek" and aerospace engineer, I like anything that flies, so when I can capture a bird in flight, especially in a sunset I do it.

Thanks Mark, I got lucky to capture both of them. The sunset photos were taken from our veranda.

Thanks Don, the ferry really caught my eye and I thought others here would appreciate it.
Nice set of photos; enjoyed seeing them.
Sunsets are special times, made even more special by being in a place one loves.
