Interesting owl up close and personal. Nice work with the white feathers. I think it might look nice with a sunset background.

I had never seen an Albino Barred Owl before.
I think he is rather striking looking.

This is a captive bird, and was taken in a school gymnasium due to the weather. I decided to replace the backgrounds, since gym walls aren't too pretty.

Hope you enjoy seeing these.

Very nice treatment of whites in these beautiful photos Jim. I continue to be confused by the difference between leucism and albinism. This fine bird's eyes suggest leucism but there seems to be a complete absence of pigment in her feet. Seems unlikely the exhibitor world have misidentified her condition. No matter, beautiful and interesting bird, well rendered. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Phil. I was told that the lack of pigmentation in the feet, and eye color made this a true albino.
It sure looks strikingly different than a "normal " barred owl

Very nice. Background replacements look a little over processed.
