It is quite possible that a large potion of atheists such as I read other things than the "Babble" that are full of truths and historical finding that are far more interesting. I find the books of fiction written by these supposedly inspired men in the "Babble" to be quite laughable at times - great reading for children's sunday school but not adults who have an open mind to reality and true history of man. I started researching items from the Babble 35 yrs ago- have gone to a few different churches and Babble studies I have found so many interesting things that supposed Biblical scholars can't answer- where did these other tribes come from that married the daughter of Adam and Eve-what was the true "Hell"- what realy happened at Sodeman and Gamora, how did Moses really survive 40 yes in the desert.

When one goes to a book study they need to study it not just read it.

No it’s not incumbent on anyone to validate any belief that they profess. Where did you get that fallacy? It is however incumbent on anyone who makes a definitive claim that God doesn’t exists or does exist. Most atheists I have had conversations with claim that God does Not Exist, that is an irrational position to take. How can you possibly know that there is no God or gods?
