My only comment is really a question. In the first shot, did you try different cropping, such as cropping out the hole in the window on the left side, and bringing the top down some, making the center of the shot somewhere between the shattered hole and the leaf on the right side? I think the second shot is neat, good, great, wonderful, as is.

#2 - strong rectangular shapes to keep order, fantastic details of rust and decay. Love it!

#1 - the out of focus (and unidentifiable) object, and that fuschia color, in the center don't do anything for me. I like the cracked window and the other colors of that pic very much.
