I first shot these barns 3 or 4 years ago. This past October, they presented me with an entirely different look....a bit more moody this around.

I like 1 the most.

I like them both. They are both nice compositions with good colors. Well done. :) The 2nd I like the way the leaves compliment the colors on the roof. The first one, I love the framing, and the leaves in the foreground, and I'm wondering how that one might feel in monochrome? Would that shift more of the emphasis to the old barn?

Thanks for taking time to comment as you have. Some barn scenes almost demand a B&W approach, and I love doing them that way. These two scenes had an abundance of color that I wanted to capitalize on. I'll play with that first one a bit...if I like it, I'll post it.

Love it ! So many abandoned barns after hurricane damage and homes just left to mold and decay here in SW Louisiana. See many during my afternoon country rides. Seeing you pictures makes me think of doing an ABANDON picture folder. Thanks!

Looks like I saw this "barnscape" few days ago...in a "foggy" ambiance...but now, it loosed its "moody" mood.
Don't mind: the subject itself remains beautiful and both pictures are a great widness of the past.
Keep shooting it...once at a rainy day and once at a sunny day...just to compare how yhe season does impact the mood of the shot!

I live in Florida and I can really relate to what happened to you folks in southern Louisiana. I see predictions that the hurricane season is going to be bad this year.

I appreciate you stopping by and commenting.
