Thanks for your comments Huyen and I understand your points. This was on a walking tour with a group of people, not a photo workshop and you often don't have enough time to do other than a quick snap. These were taken with a Canon G5X MK II compact camera with a 24-120mm fixed lens. I left my Canon 90D DSLR on the ship most of the time, as I wanted to travel light when out and about. There are times when I would like to go wider and others when I would like a little more reach, but I'm fine in most instances. My "walking around lens" for the 90D is an 18-135 and if I need to go wider, I also have a 10-18. I've carried the 90D (and my previous 80D) all over and do so when I want the extra capability that I get with it. However, this was a vacation and I'm very pleased with the results that I get with a camera that will fit in a shirt pocket (it has a 20MP 1" sensor).
