Some of the "sweets" offered so far have made my mouth water a bit. Here are a few that don't, but I still consider them sweet.
p.11 Oh, Tony, so right those first "loves" of each other are truly sweet (why can't we retain the innocent acceptance of each other as children do? These phtos are wonderful reminders) And the car - well, you know I am an admirer of all things "motor"

The '55 Chevys always bring back good memories as my best friend and I spent many hours back in the day working on his '55 2dr hdtp and my '56 Ford Conv.
Those are precious memories of "sweet" times.

You're not an amateur, Larry. You are a serious photo enthusiast!
There is an old "penny Candy" store I pass a few times a week. My memory may mot remember correctly but I think it was called "Way Way" because at one time it was way, way out of the town of Saco (5-6 miles maybe?) It was one of those old gas stations with comcrete, rock and an unusal block design of the maine building. For years it was a tradition for many families in the area to take their kids, get some candy and ice cream and chat. Two women ran it and when they retired well into their 80s/90s a group took it over. It's a fun place to visit. Notice the candy is no longer a penny and this was several years ago.

Pat's images from the old time candy store reminded of one we have nearby; Mr. Ed's Elephant Museum and Candy Emporium, situated on route 30 between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA. If you are ever in the area, you simply must stop in. Besides "sweet," the word eclectic is very appropriate. Oh, and these images capture less than a tenth of what is available.

Thanks for the thumbs up Karin.
