I spent 10 days working in Ecuador on a medical mission in the Riobamba area. We stayed in this wonderful old hostal called La Andaluz. The original buildings date back hundreds of years, and the interior is full of creaky boards, old stone steps, and "haunted" hallways. They have wonderful collections of old stuff and beautiful flowers (of course, this is Ecuador, so everything grows!).
There are several of these old stone seats scattered around the gardens.
Anyone know what this is? It grows on a bush.
An entrance into an auditorium from a private garden.

The grounds are full of flowering bushes, trees, etc. No clue what this is, but it's pretty.
The interior is full of flower arrangements of all kinds.
I really wanted a ride, and horses were available next door. But there was no time to do so.
One of their collections is of old cameras. Unfortunately, they are behind glass in a room with chandeliers and unshuttered windows!

Again - pretty, but no clue as to name.
I'd swear these are lilac, but they don't smell. One can't have lilacs with their heady fragrance!
And everywhere one looks, there's the glorious Andes mountains!
Excellent set, Kathy! God bless you for your work there.
